The Amelia Center has served as a place of hope for grieving children, parents and families for the past twelve years. We recognize that loss impacts whole families and seek to provide, more than anything else, a place where you and your family can sit down, slow down, and begin to find meaning and hope once again.
We are a comprehensive grief counseling center for grieving people in that we provide individual family counseling with a very caring professional staff, as well as facilitated grief support groups, short-term topical grief support groups, educational opportunities, memorial services, and critical incident stress management response to schools and places of worship affected by loss.
If you are a bereaved parent, or have a child whose life has been affected by the death of someone significant in their life, we hope that you will find The Amelia Center a place of hope.
We invite you to explore this site and hope that it might be a resource to you on your grief journey.
